Join us for a comprehensive seminar on social media communication strategies and performance evaluation, hosted by ABU Media Academy in collaboration with TRT!

This series will delve into topics crucial for public broadcasters, beginning with an exploration of social media dynamics and extending to the development of effective social media strategies. The webinar will cover a range of subjects, including engagement strategies, understanding target audiences, SWOT analysis, navigating platform dynamics, exploring diverse content formats and creatives, strategic planning and execution, setting and evaluating KPIs, measuring social media performance, understanding social media algorithms, crisis communication strategies, and leveraging Generative AI applications (LLMs) as personal assistants.

Trainer: Birkan KOÇ, TRT (Türkiye)

Birkan Koç has accumulated over a decade of experience in various sectors of the creative industry, including roles in advertising agencies, production companies, and his current position as a Brand Marketing Manager at TRT. His diverse roles in brand management, social media strategy, production coordination, and event management have provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the media landscape’s dynamics and challenges.

He completed his undergraduate studies in English Language and Literature at Istanbul University, followed by a Master’s degree in New Media and Communication Management at the same institution. During his master’s studies, he focused on personalization practices concerning the role of user interactions on social media recommendation algorithms. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Public Relations and Promotion, he is dedicated to advancing his research on generative AI technologies and AI ethics, demonstrating his commitment to staying abreast of industry advancements.
